French Bulldog is a tiny variety of domestic dog. By simply 1850 the Toy Bulldog had become common in England, and appeared in conformation shows when they commenced around 1860. However, records were not kept of the breed's development as it diverged further away from it is original Bulldog roots. Mainly because it changed, terrier and Pug-dog stock may have recently been brought in to produce attributes including the breed's long upright ears, and the roundness of their eyes.
